Website and Graphic User Interface (GUI) Privacy

"Cookies" and other information collected by Tiki Technologies servers may be used as required to provide certain services to our customers.

Tiki Technologies servers may record a variety of information, including but not limited to the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using, the type of browser software you use, your computer operating system, configuration of customer domain name, mail logs, mail reports and quarantined mail. We may use this and other information to not only deliver the advertised services but also to measure the performance and compatibility of our site and to continually improve it. We also use this data as needed to internally investigate allegations of violations of our acceptable use policies, or as compelled by law enforcement.

In order to use our services, you may supply our system with lists of end user email addresses, names of administrators, and feedback on the disposition of email (missed spam and/or false positives (valid email misidentified as spam). The services may also include storage of emails destined for your domain name on our servers ("quarantine" and "queue" features). All collected feedback and data, with the exception of stored email and lists of end-user email addresses, shall be the sole property of Tiki Technologies Corp. and may be used in any manner Tiki Technologies Corp sees fit, including development and marketing purposes.

Customer Privacy

When you sign up, Tiki Technologies collects contact information which may include your name, company name and postal address, contact number(s), preferred contact email address, preferred method of payment and a "secret question/secret answer" set for later identity verification when confidential information must be shared by telephone. We also will access public databases to check the status of your domain name, and the destination of your email-related domain records, as well as other information required for the delivery of requested services.

Your application form resides at our main administrative office. The electronic record generated by this form is used in our billing database. Relevant parts of the information you provide to us are used in our billing and customer services records and as necessary for the provision of services.

We retain credit card information supplied by customers. Credit card numbers are processed in accordance with the policies and procedures required by our financial institution. In the case of account termination for nonpayment and failure/refusal to pay, customer information may be shared with collections agencies.

Generally, no information an organization or individual considers confidential or irreplaceable should be stored on any internet-connected servers. While TikiTechnologies takes reasonable precautions to protect user data privacy, this cannot be guaranteed. Concerned customers should consult a qualified network security engineer regarding encryption and other protective methods prior to transmitting or storing private documents on an Internet-connected machine of any kind.

Compelled Disclosure

If Tiki Technologies Corp. is legally compelled to disclose information you have provided, we will attempt to notify you, unless otherwise prohibited, that a request for your information has been made in order to give you an opportunity to object to the disclosure. We will attempt to provide this notice by email to your contact email address of record. If you do not successfully challenge the disclosure request to the appropriate authorities within the given deadlines, we may be legally required to disclose your information.
